Faith perspective: A good time to consider who God is in our lives

Very often these days it seems like religion is fighting a rear-guard action against atheism, or secularism, or just plain indifference. I recently heard a sermon in which listeners were challenged to live in a way that demonstrated that God was real.

A central question, I think, and it leads back, at least for me, to the question of who I think God is, which has to be answered before I can figure out how to live in accordance with the reality of God. J.B. Phillips wrote a book about this ("Your God is Too Small") a long time ago - my copy says it's from the 12th printing in 1957.
