A first-of-its-kind event will take place May 3 in Antigo to help raise money for an organization that provides care for sick and injured birds.

Cocktails and Hawk Tales, an event put on by Raptor Education Group Inc. will feature dinner, live music, stand-up comedy, a raffle and a silent auction.

REGI director of education and avian trainer Abbey Ruppert said the organization's only big fundraiser now is Wings over Wausau - a kids-friendly event with educational stations, crafts and games, and a chance to see birds of prey -and the group wanted to come up with an elegant event for REGI's adult ...
