English project to visit Door Shakespeare this summer

Door Shakespeare will have a special visitor during its summer season this year when the "Shakespeare on the Road" project comes to the Peninsula in August.

The year 2014 marks the 450th anniversary year of playwright William Shakespeare's birth. To celebrate this milestone and illuminate the many homes for Shakespeare in North America, representatives of the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust and Warwick University in Coventry, England will be visit 14 theaters across the continent that hold regular Shakespeare festivals.
