31 arrested in Northeastern Wisconsin immigration crackdown

U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement said it arrested 31 people in Green Bay and elsewhere in Northeastern Wisconsin over the weekend as part of an operation to remove "criminal aliens, immigration fugitives and other immigration violators."

The operation sought criminal aliens with convictions for theft, domestic abuse, battery, burglary, child enticement, drugs, identity theft, hit-and-run involving injury, fourth-degree sexual assault, and illegal re-entry after deportation.

Two of the individuals had deportation orders and eight had been deported in the past, ...
