Two Rivers council OKs Hamilton salvage, demolition permits

Work expected to begin in April; last about 15 months

The Two Rivers City Council at its Monday evening meeting authorized the issuance of permits for salvage and demolition work on the former Hamilton Manufacturing complex.

Clearing all structures from the 12.5-acre downtown riverfront site should take about 15 months, according to former Hamilton parent company Thermo Fisher Scientific and its contractor.
