The woodland owner is passionate about his woods for a variety of reasons, but studies suggest more than anything, he's passionate about the wildlife it houses. For many Wisconsin hunters, this means deer.

Spotting a 12-point buck is part luck, part science. The luck is being in the right spot at the right time, but the science is establishing the right habitat to draw deer to you. This can be as simple as being a good forest steward and making the right management choices.
