Get ready for growing season at library event

Believe it or not, there are a lot of gardening activities that can be done even before the ground is thawed, including pruning shrubs and trees, cutting back last year's perennials, topdressing with mulch, adding compost into the vegetable garden, starting seeds indoors and waking up the plants from their winter nap.

In this short evening, we will briefly cover all of the activities that can be done "right now."
