Sex offender to relocate in Wausau

A registered sex offender with offenses dating back nearly 60 years will move to Wausau this month, police say.

Ronald Myer, 74, was released from prison in December 2010 and has been living in Rosholt, according to a Wausau Police Department news release. Myer will be transferred to an assisted living facility at 702 Plumer St., Wausau, in the coming days. An exact date was not specified.

Police say they believe Myer has the potential to reoffend based on Myer's criminal history, according to the release. Myer has a record of sex offenses that began in 1957, which include numerous charges and ...
