Former Green Bay Packers linebacker George Koonce has been named Marian University's vice president of advancement.
"We are delighted to welcome George Koonce to the Marian University and Fond du Lac communities," Robert Fale, the university's interim president, said in a press release. "George Koonce's expertise in fundraising and community engagement, as well as his passion for higher education, will be an incredible asset to the future success of Marian University."
