The Green Bay Packers received third- and fifth-round compensatory picks Monday, which gives them four of the top 98 selections in the May draft.

The Packers were one of four teams to receive a third-round pick, the highest possible under the compensatory formula based on unrestricted free agent gains and losses.

The third-round pick (No. 98 overall) was for the loss of receiver Greg Jennings and the fifth-rounder (No. 176) was for losing linebacker Erik Walden. The Packers didn't sign any unrestricted free agents last year to offset those losses. ...
