In the last few years, I've taken up the sport of distance running as well as triathlon. Currently, I am training for the Ironman Wisconsin race in Madison in September. This may not seem to have any correlation with the 10 years I've been served on the Marathon County Board, but recently, while I was out running on the newly constructed bike/pedestrian path next to the highway in Rib Mountain, I realized it really has shaped how I look at our county and how I appreciate all we have done and can do in the future for the residents who live here.

I grew up in Rib Mountain, and have lived here most my life ...
