Green Bay Packers coach Mike McCarthy gets fired up when thinking about the potential for his offense in 2014.

That's nothing new for McCarthy, who has produced a top-10 offense in seven of his eight seasons. Even last year, when quarterback Aaron Rodgers missed eight games with a broken collarbone, the Packers ranked No. 3 in the NFL in yards per game (400.2) and No. 8 in points (26.1).

But the prospect of using Rodgers and running back Eddie Lacy in tandem for a full season is tantalizing to the Packers head coach. ...
