After sitting idle for several months and undergoing $1 million in renovations, a new restaurant is due to open on the city's west side.

Milwaukee Burger Co. will open Monday at 2200 Stewart Ave., in the building previously occupied by Hudson's Classic Grill. The restaurant will offer more than 20 different burgers, including a cheese curd burger and a brown-sugar-smoked cheddar burger.

The restaurant also will offer salads, wraps and milkshakes, as well as a build-your-own-burger option that allows patrons to stack their burgers with anything from onion rings and barbecue sauce to ...
