Wisconsin laws requiring open government meetings and records should be enforced more vigorously, a candidate for state attorney general says.

Jon Richards, a Democrat from Milwaukee, said Thursday during a visit to Green Bay that Republican incumbent J.B. Van Hollen has been lax in enforcing open meetings and open records laws.
