Frisk recognized for Baird Creek leadership

Luxemburg-Casco environmental science teacher Charlie Frisk and his L-C Conservation Club students were named as the first Northeast Wisconsin Watershed Champion for their work on improving Baird Creek. Frisk, president of the Baird Creek Foundation, was instrumental helping revitalize the creek by planting vegetation and buffer strips, holding agricultural runoff at bay, with the help of his students.

The award was presented at the first World Water Day at the Jack Day Environmental Education Center on March 21 by NEW Water, a collaboration of the Green Bay Metropolitan Sewerage ...
