Mitch Tulachka, a former dirt bike racer who now drives Just Get Er Done on the Monster Jam truck series, says there are similarities between dirt bikes and monster trucks.

Just to recap: The average dirt bike weighs 200 to 250 pounds and has a 2-gallon gasoline tank while the average Monster Jam truck weighs about 10,000 pounds and burns through 2 gallons of fuel (the methanol variety) in about 30 seconds.

Still, Tulachka points to the trajectory of the vehicle when it comes off a ramp - nose straight up - and the fact that the driver sits in the middle of each vehicle. ...
