Annual breakfast to honor volunteers

National Volunteer Week begins Sunday

Seventeen groups and 29 individuals will be honored Tuesday at the United Way of Inner Wisconsin Volunteer Center's annual Volunteer Recognition at Hotel Mead.

Each nominee will receive a certificate and special recognition during the event, part an observance for National Volunteer Week, which begins Sunday.

Mayor Zachary Vruwink will be present to proclaim National Volunteer Week in Inner Wisconsin, and Jennifer Swensen and Kyli Brown of the University of Wisconsin-Extension will share keynote honors with their presentation, "Taking Care of You," A Day of Caring video created by ...
