The Gibraltar High School baseball team returns five players from last year's co-Packerland Conference championship squad who earned all-conference recognition, but coach Jay Kita said this could be a rebuilding season.

That's because the Vikings lost seven seniors from the team that shared the title with Sturgeon Bay and eventual WIAA Division 3 state champion Oconto. The Vikings also won a Division 3 regional title before ending their season in the sectional semifinals with a 12-6 record.

Those losses include five starters, among them unanimous first-team all-conference pitcher ...
