Southern Door is planning to come out swinging this high school baseball season.

Eagles coach Dave Neinas believes his team has the experience and pitching to contend for the conference title. The Eagles placed fourth last season in the eight-team league with a record of 3-4 and finished 9-9 overall.

"I think we can be right in the running to win it," said Neinas. "With seven seniors and two pitchers like we have, my expectations are high." ...
