Do you have a great idea for a poem, novel, or essay but aren't sure where to start? Do you want to write but feel intimidated by a blank page or blinking cursor?

Join University of Wisconsin professor Carrie Shipers for writing exercises designed to help writers of all levels jump start their next project and transform their creative vision into words on the page.

"Be a Writer" is from 6 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Remember to bring writing supplies to class.

Advance registration is required. Register online at www.marshfield.uwc.edu/ce or by calling the University of Wisconsin-Marshfield/Wood County Continuing Education Office at 715-389-6520.
