Central Wisconsin students honored as DAR Good Citizens

Five local high school seniors have been named DAR Good Citizens and will receive recognition from the Ah Dah Wa Gam Chapter, National Society of Daughters of the American Revolution.

Through its many education programs for youths and adults, the DAR provides training in literacy, leadership, American history and citizenship. At least 28 of the 42 DAR national and special committees focus on education.

Only one student from each school is honored by being named his or her school's DAR Good Citizen and is selected as one who display qualities of good citizenship, such as leadership, ...
