The city's Economic Development Committee will decide at its meeting Tuesday whether to recommend that the Wausau City Council approve the West Thomas Street design plan.

Milwaukee's GRAEF Engineering drafted a master plan for the street, proposing four lanes from the Thomas Street Bridge to Third Avenue and two lanes from there to 17th Avenue.

The council was scheduled to vote on the plan March 25 but delayed the decision until the city determined which of two legal opinions on the project it should be considering. ...
