Thomas Street in Wausau could be in line for a revamp, including having four lanes from the Thomas Street Bridge to Third Avenue.
The city's Economic Development Committee will decide at its meeting Tuesday whether to recommend that the Wausau City Council approve the West Thomas Street design plan.
Milwaukee's GRAEF Engineering drafted a master plan for the street, proposing four lanes from the Thomas Street Bridge to Third Avenue and two lanes from there to 17th Avenue.
