The Weston Village Board Monday voted to place an advisory referendum on the November ballot to ask voters whether they think the village should create an ordinance banning the use of cellphones while driving.
Village officials could decide whether to follow Wausau's lead in enacting an ordinance banning cellphone use while driving. But they want to hear from taxpayers first.
