Board thanks sponsors, hosts, volunteers

On March 23, the Central Chamber Chorale premiered the commissioned choral work, "Certus Sum Enim," composed by Marshfield native, Andrew Rindfleisch, in honor of founding member and former Chorale president, Dr. Joseph Ousley, to an overflow audience. The board thanks the major sponsors for the commission and the performance:

The Joseph & Florence Mandel Family Foundation, Timothy C. Beyer Fund of Cleveland, Ohio; Marshfield Area Community Foundation, Senior Grants; Greg & Sally Rindfleisch Performing Arts Fund, Marshfield; Marshfield Clinic and Forward Financial Bank.

The board also thanks the First Presbyterian Church for hosting the Marshfield concert and thanks the many volunteers and individual donors including friends, singers and co-workers of Dr. Ousley, who made this commission and performance possible. The concerts were also sponsored, in part, by a grant from the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the state of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the arts.

Marshfield is truly fortunate to have so many supporters of the arts in the community.

Family appreciates chorale concert

Thanks to the Central Chamber Chorale for providing a lovely Sunday afternoon filled with beautiful music. It was an added pleasure to have the chance to "meet and greet" at the reception, which had been carefully arranged by the board of directors

Thanks also to Andrew Rindfleisch for his inspiring commissioned composition. The Ousley family appreciates the chorale's dedicating that work to Joe Ousley's memory. What a kind and thoughtful thing to have done.

I wish to thank the many, many people who are listed in the chorale program as donors of memorials to Joe's memory.

I'd like to say that this concert was exceptionally fine, and it was, but aren't all of the chorale concerts? I believe so.
