The market for Matt Flynn is finally heating up.
Flynn and former Tampa Bay quarterback Josh Freeman are expected to work out tomorrow for the New York Giants, according to ESPNís Adam Caplan and numerous other media reports.
The Giantsí interest of adding a fourth quarterback to their roster began after Eli Manning had ankle surgery last week that could sideline him for all of spring workouts.
Flynn, 28, is one of the Green Bay Packersí seven unrestricted free agents who went unsigned through the first month of the new league year. He was 2-2 as a starter after re-signing on Nov. 12 and finished the season with an 86.1 quarterback rating.
Packers coach Mike McCarthy has spoken repeatedly about how heíd like to re-sign Flynn, a seventh-round pick by the Packers in 2008, but a deal has yet to be reached.
The Giants have 2013 fourth-round pick Ryan Nassib and veteran Curtis Painter signed to back up Manning, but their new offensive coordinator Ben McAdoo was Flynnís position coach last season in Green Bay.
