The Green Bay Packers will open their 2014 season in the national spotlight against the defending Super Bowl champion Seattle Seahawks at CenturyLink Field, site of one of the most controversial losses in team history.
The NFL released its schedule Wednesday evening and gave the Packers the monumental task of kicking off the season with a night game in Seattle on Thursday, Sept. 4. The Seahawks are coming off a Super Bowl rout of the Denver Broncos and have been virtually unbeatable at home.
