All misdemeanor child neglect charges have been dropped against a Kewaunee County couple who still face several felony counts of abusing some of their nine children.

It was the second time since Christine and Steven Oswald were charged in fall of 2013 that the district attorney's office eliminated some of the charges against the town of Carlton couple.

This latest cut happened April 24 in apparent response to defense lawyers protesting that many of the charges were too vague. ...
