ALGOMA - The Wolves found themselves in a tough spot after the Denmark Vikings softball team scored three runs at the top of the first inning, but after a quick timeout, Algoma came back with two hits, scoring four in the bottom of the first.

In a 16-3 win over Denmark (1-5-1, 4-6) on their home Peterson Park field, Algoma also scored seven runs in the fourth. Baleigh Delorit led the pack with three hits overall and Kathy Bluett contributed two hits, a triple and two RBIs. Jordan Demmin pitched for Algoma, and Hannah Harman for Denmark. ...
