Peninsula Singers to offer '35 Years of Singing'

The Peninsula Singers begin their 35th season with their annual two performances of their spring concert this Mother's Day weekend, one in Sturgeon Bay and the other in Fish Creek.

This year's spring program is called "Favorite Memories: 35 Years of Singing," which artistic director Merle Colburn said will lean more toward the serious side of music, as the Singers' repertoire did in their early years.

Among the numbers in this spring's program is "Trilogy," a tribute to Door County written by Barbara Larson, poet and spouse of former director George Larson, and Don Richter, Colburn's ...
