High school band Found the Lost plays the statewide student garage band competition Friday

Used to be a regular occurrence to find a group of high schoolers from Door County entering its band in Launchpad.

The Wisconsin School Music Association-sponsored statewide competition for bands made up of middle and high school students, but not bands that are part of a school program - garage bands for high school students, basically - saw at least one group representing the Peninsula every year from 2006 to '10, with four bands entered in 2008.

But no band from Door County had signed on since then. That streak ends Friday. ...
