Academic honors: Salutatorian for Class of 2014; freshman-junior: 4.0 GPA (highest honors), senior: 3.99 GPA (high honors); top 5 percent of class; sophomore-senior: National Honor Society; Student of the Month for social studies and science; member of Math League; received first place in a Science Olympiad event.

Volunteer work: Yard work for elderly, worked concessions at AHS and Athens softball diamonds, painted AHS & Athens softball diamond dugouts, waitressed at Christian Education Banquet, helped with Vacation Bible School, rang bell for The Salvation Army, collected food for local food pantry, volunteered at church (Color Vision work), decorated Village Square

Favorite sports memory: My favorite high school sports memory was from my senior year of volleyball when we took third place at the Menomonie Sprawl Tournament. This was the best Athens placed in many years. It was very exciting to come together as a team and show what a little school can do.

Advice to an athlete: I would tell them to always work hard and do their best no matter what. It may be frustrating at times, but keep pushing hard through the tough times and you will be rewarded. As long as you believe in yourself, you can achieve great things.

Inspiration: My inspiration throughout my high school sports career was my family. Many of them excelled in sports when they were in high school and still are avid fans. I have always worked hard to follow in their footsteps to become the best athlete I can be and make them proud.

College plans: UW-La Crosse for exercise and sports science or biology.
