Favorite sports memory: Every time I hear ďChariots of Fire,Ē I get goosebumps as memories of my first state cross country meet flood back to mind. Accomplishing a season-long goal, the pride on my grandfatherís face, the mass of talented runners surrounding me. Everyone should feel like this at least once.

Advice to an athlete: Even if your not a star in the record book, itís still worth doing. Donít be discouraged from trying just because you donít have top stats. Keep working. You donít make any shots you donít take. The personal accomplishments and friendships last longer than the shine on a trophy.

Inspiration: My older brother, Josh. We share a passion for sports, especially running. He was a very accomplished athlete and I always aspired to follow his example. He pushed me to reach my full potential, and made me the competitive athlete I am today.

College plans: I will be attending UW-La Crosse to study Physical Therapy.
