Other Sports/Accolades: Both ways all-conference lineman, both ways all-regional lineman, honorable mention offensive lineman coaches association, honorable mention defensive lineman AP, Channel 7 All-Star, nominated to play in the Coaches Association All-Star game.

Academic honors: Honor roll.

Volunteer work: Special Touch Ministries with physically/mentally disabled; Mission trip to Savannah, Ga.; mission trip to Littleton, N.H.; Mission trip to Milwaukee; fundraising for Childrenís Hospital of Wisconsin.

Favorite sports memory: After winning the 2012 Division 5 football championship, my fellow linemen and I just stood hugging each other crying out of happiness, because reality was sinking in and we were the first team from Amherst to go and win state football.

Advice to an athlete: Appreciate high school and the journey it takes you on, even if itís hard and a lot of work, because itís just going to become a memory of the past, and youíre going to miss it.

Inspiration: I really looked up to my dad and my uncles. They were all athletes and I wanted to make memories like they did ... maybe even better ones.

College plans: UW-Oshkosh for business.
