The Green Bay Packers completed their coaching staff on Wednesday, officially announcing Steve Marshall as their new assistant offensive line coach.
Marshall, 57, replaces Joel Hilgenberg, who resigned last month after three seasons with the Packers to spend more time with his family.
Marshall is a well-traveled veteran who possesses more than 30 years of coaching experience.
He coached six years in the NFL where he was an offensive line coach for Dom Capersí Houston Texans from 2002 to 2005. He also coached the offensive line in Cleveland for two seasons.
Marshall was hired as an offensive line coach at New Mexico State in January and previously served in the same capacity at the collegiate level in stints at Colorado (2001-02 and 2011-12), California (2009-10), North Carolina (1998-99), Texas A&M (1997), UCLA (1996), Tennessee (1980-81 and 1993-95), Virginia Tech (1987), Murray State (1985-86) and Marshall (1982-83).
