Power out in Oconto for two hours after van hits pole

Power was out in much of the city of Oconto Wednesday night after a minivan crashed into an electric pole.

The accident occurred about 5:45 p.m. on Main Street near the railroad tracks.

Officer Nicole Crocker was nearby and a saw a flash of light, and observed the top half of the power pole snap off, said Police Chief Dan Ault. The top pole hung from the wires. ...
