Kewaunee Artisan Center forms as NWTC sponsorship ends

Northeast Wisconsin Technical College will no longer be host to an array of non-credited art classes held in Kewaunee, so a group of 15 people has formed a nonprofit group, Kewaunee Artisan Center, to ensure the continuation of these beloved educational opportunities.

The changeover from NWTC to the Kewaunee Artisan Center will take place at the end of June. NWTC Regional Manager Sarah Nelson said the process has been ongoing for the last two years, district-wide, and Kewaunee is the last of the locations to make the transition.
