STURGEON BAY - The Packerland-leading Clippers handed Algoma a conference loss on the road, leaving the Wolves 2 games behind.

Algoma (2-4, 2-5) was led by Andrew Gorz, who went 2-for-4 and stole a base during the game. Alex Mura went 2-for-3. ...

Sturgeon Bay (4-1, 4-2) pitcher Lucas Stephenson went six innings, striking out 11 Algoma batters. Sam Koss pitched three innings for the Wolves, notching three strikeouts.
