Crash that narrowly misses train seriously injures Oconto woman

An Oconto woman was seriously injured Thursday night in two-car crash that nearly involved a passing train, according to Oconto Police.

About 8:15 p.m., a pick-up driven by Kyle Sydor of Oconto was southbound on Broadway Avenue. He entered the Pecor Street intersection, turned left into a car that was stopped waiting for the train.

The pick-up then went across the tracks in front of the train and rolled several times, coming to a stop on the east side of the railroad tracks. ...
