Packers third-round draft pick Khyri Thornton spoke to the media via conference call:
*Didn't have high expectations about the draft. Didn't want to know when he would be taken.
*I didn't have any idea Packers were interested in me.
*I dont' have regrets about college (not getting into two different colleges). It was a blessing.
*Every day, every game, I played as hard as I could. I looked at it as a blessing.
*I tell teammates play hard to the whistle whether you're down 40 or up 40.
*Best game was Arkansas. Everybody said we would lose by 50 points.
*I was happy we didn't lose all our games (even though I was injured on game we won). I couldn't play and be part of it. After win everybody gave me a hug.
*I grew up watching Julius Peppers. I have great opportunity to learn from the best.
*Winning to me is second nature. If I can make impact for us to win, that would be a good thing.
