Track: Southern Door boys win Oconto meet

Five Door County athletes won two individual events each in the six-team Oconto Freshman/Sophomore Invitational track meet Tuesday night.

Matthew Stawicki of Sturgeon Bay won the boys 1,600-meter run with a time of 5 minutes, 0.72 seconds, and the 3,200 (11:05.10). Nic Brinkman swept the boys throwing events for the Clippers with 115 feet in the discus and 38-8.75 in the shot put, and Jordan Anthony won the 110 (16.77) and 300 (43.62) hurdles.

Southern Door's Julia Englebert won the girls 800 run (2:38.83) and pole vault (6-9). She also was part of two winning relays: the 1,600 with Haley ...
