Heavy rain on Monday broke a a 90-year-old record in Green Bay and played a role in a road closing near Wrightstown.

The National Weather Service office in Ashwaubenon recorded 1.05 inches of rain, besting the 1924 record of 0.88 inches of rain.

Appleton also broke a long-standing record with 2.15 inches recorded Monday. The old record of 1.76 inches was set in 1942. ...
