The Green Bay Packers released linebacker Chase Thomas on Monday and signed 12 of their undrafted rookies to contracts, according to the NFL transaction report.

Thomas, 24, signed with the Packers in January after being a member of the Atlanta Falcons’ practice squad for the final 14 games of the 2013 season. The 6-foot-3, 245-pound linebacker went undrafted last year and spent time in camp with both New Orleans and Oakland before landing with the Falcons.

The Stanford product’s chances in last year’s draft was hurt by a 4.91-second time in the 40-yard dash at the 2013 scouting combine.

Of the 15 undrafted free agents the Packers reached agreements with this past weekend, they signed 12 on Monday:

Jake Doughty, LB, Utah State

Jay Elliott, LB, Toledo

Carlos Gray, DE, NC State

Adrian Hubbard, LB, Alabama

Jordan McCray, G, Central Florida

Rajion Neal, RB, Tennessee

Mike Pennel, DT, Colorado State-Pueblo

Justin Perillo, TE, Maine

LaDarius Perkins, RB, Mississippi State

Chase Rettig, QB, Boston College

Joe Thomas, LB, South Carolina State

DB Ryan White, DB, Auburn

The Packers' roster is currently at 87.
