Deliberations to resume Tuesday in Baumann OWI homicide trial

Jurors today failed to reach a verdict in the case of a Merrill woman accused of driving drunk in a high speed crash that killed two friends and will resume deliberations at 8 a.m. Tuesday.

In a trial that now has lasted a week, Baumann, 26, faces charges of two counts of homicide by drunken driving, two counts of homicide by driving with a prohibited alcohol content, and one count each of causing injury by drunken driving, causing injury by driving with a prohibited alcohol content and reckless driving causing great bodily harm.
