EDITOR: Each May during National Foster Care Month, Clark County Social Services acknowledges the magnificent people who make a different in the lives of children and families throughout the year.

We applaud the caring commitment and continued support of foster parents to the families and children of Clark County. Without the ongoing efforts of the foster parents, relative caregivers, mentors, advocates, social workers and volunteers, too many children would end up facing life's challenges all alone.

Clark County Social Services appreciates your dedication and compassion while changing lifetimes. Deep appreciation to the following foster families: Baures, Dougherty, Fox, Guzman, Hart, Hebert, Kuehl, Lehouillier, Nolt, Opelt, Pawlak, Peterson, Weiers and Zimmerman.

Happy Foster Care Month!

Georgette Teschner,

foster care coordinator,

Clark County Department of Social Services,
