The Green Bay Packers have begun demolishing about a dozen houses south of Lambeau Field.

Most of the houses are on Barberry Lane, directly south of Valley View Road. A few are on Valley View Road and South Ridge Road. The Packers plan to use the land for grass parking this season. Long-term plans have not been announced.

The project will create about 450 parking spaces. The paved parking at the stadium will be unchanged when the team finishes its current construction, but the team did add 7,000 seats to the stadium before the 2013-14 season. ...
