June 10: Diabetes support group meets
Agnesian HealthCare's Diabetes Services has scheduled a free support group for individuals with diabetes or those who care about someone with diabetes from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 10 in Agnesian HC's fifth floor Diagnostic & Treatment Center conference room at 430 E. Division Street. This group will continue to meet on the second Tuesday of each even month.
Join Liz Gorecki, RD, CSO, CD, Agnesian HealthCare dietitian, to learn how individuals with diabetes can meet the needs of family members who are finicky eaters. Recipes will be available.

June 10: Heartsaver AED program set
Join Agnesian HealthCare's Journeys: a health resource center for the American Heart Association's "Heartsaver AED" class scheduled for Tuesday, June 10. This course is for individuals who are required to have CPR training for their job, but are not health care providers.
Heartsaver AED will be held from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Agnesian HealthCare Journeys: a health resource center. It is a one-night class, with recognition in the use of an AED (automatic external defibrillator). The cost per person, which includes an instructional book.

June 10: Mom & Baby Club offered
Knowing what to expect from your newborn will make your first days home together a little less overwhelming.
Parents and their newborn (from birth to five months) are invited to participate in a free support group to share questions and concerns about issues that arise during the unpredictable weeks and months following birth, including infant care, expectations, exercise and diet, intimacy and more.
Mom & Baby Club is scheduled for 10 a.m. to noon Tuesday, June 10 in the Fitness Center Meeting Room at Agnesian HealthCare.

June 11: Adult cancer support group meets
Agnesian HealthCare has scheduled an open adult support group for individuals and families experiencing a cancer diagnosis from 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, June 11 in Agnesian HealthCare's Journeys. The free support group meets the second Wednesday of each month.
This program is designed to help participants cope with a cancer diagnosis in an informative and supportive group setting.
This is a free and open support group and is available for all interested parties.
