Six players missed the Packers’ OTA practice Tuesday because of apparent injuries: receiver Chris Harper (hamstring), cornerback Jumal Rolle (unidentified), running back Johnathan Franklin (neck), outside linebacker Clay Matthews (thumb), outside linebacker Nick Perry (foot) and tight end Andrew Quarless (unidentified).

Tight end Brandon Bostick practiced for the first time this offseason since having surgery on his foot. Several other players were back after missing some or all of last week: Guard Josh Sitton (back), and defensive lineman B.J. Raji and tight end Colt Lyerla (absent). Also, defensive lineman Jerel Worthy attended practice after missing the last two weeks because of the accidental shooting death of his grandmother. He did not participate, however.

Backup safety Sean Richardson had one of the plays of the day Tuesday when he intercepted an Aaron Rodgers pass. Richardson said he’d dropped three interception in OTAs up to that play.

“Some people are saying, ‘At least you’re in position to make the plays,’” Richardson said. “I’m not settling, I’m trying to be the best player I can be. I’m working on the small things. I asked the wide receivers about catching and what they do to make their hands better.”
