Kewaunee joins other Wisconsin counties in issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples

Just before 2 p.m. Wednesday, Kewaunee County Clerk of Courts Jamie Annoye announced Kewaunee would be joining multiple counties in Wisconsin in issuing same-sex couples marriage licenses.

Annoye had hesitated over issuing the licenses after the June 6 ruling due to lack of communication from the Department of Health Services state vital records office or the attorney general's office.
