Concerts on sale this week: Glass Animals, Dandy Warhols

Jun. 25, 2014

Rock For Oklahoma Benefit
Not all of the best music in the state in the next week is at Milwaukee's Summerfest. Door Community Auditorium in Fish Creek has landed a big gig of its own. Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee Jackson Browne will play a solo acoustic show Monday night to benefit The Tambourine Collaboratory, a venue that encourages local artists of all kinds to work together to strengthen the arts scene. Browne, who has a history with Door County from the years he played Steel Bridge Songfest, is not charging a fee to play the show, which is sold out. / Getty Images
Danny Gokey, the former church music director from Milwaukee who made it to the top three on Season 8 of 'American Idol,' will play two shows at 6:30 and 8:45 p.m. Saturday at Cup O Joy, 232 S. Broadway, Green Bay. In a bit of nice timing for fans looking to hear what he's been up to lately, his new Christian music album, 'Hope in Front of Me,'' came out this week. Doors open a half-hour prior; admission by donation. / Getty Images
