When it comes to the Big Gig, it's understandably the acts like Lady Gaga, Bruno Mars and Luke Bryan that get the most attention.

But when it comes to bang-for-your-buck, it's the live offerings beyond the Marcus Amphitheater that are the guts of the 11-day festival. For just $18 (or $11 if you're an early bird), one can have their way with a slew of acts that normally would charge that admission fee (and then some) when playing in a club or theater. The beer might not be cheap, but you can't beat that price for a Friday night with Tegan and Sara, Atmosphere, Bleachers or ZZ Ward.
